News broke on LATIMES.COM that Lionsgate, Sony Pictures and Comcast will join together to create FEARNET, a video-on-demand Horror Channel devoted entirely to horror films. With a planned release date of this Halloween, FEARNET will be available both on cable and on the Internet. LATIMES mentions that they plan to play mainly studio horror features, but they may also feature “original content such as horror shorts”.
