Travel Channel sent us another brand new clip from the series “Man V. Food” in Chicago. Man v. Food’s Adam Richman visits the Windy City of Chicago to chow down on Italian beef, sandwiches, and of course pizza. First stop is Al’s Italian Beef where the thinly sliced Italian beef sandwich, giardiniera, was invented. Next Adam visits Gino’s East to try a three-inch thick Chicago-style pizza. (Btw…Adam was raised on Brooklyn thin-crust pizza, so we’ll see if this pie can turn him into a deep-dish diehard.)

The main event takes place in the shadow of Wrigley Field at Lucky’s Sandwich Co. Here Adam takes on the Lucky’s Challenge: three overstuffed sandwiches of corned beef, pastrami, and capicola–plus fries and slaw–in one hour. My favorite part is when a fellow diner says, “I just hope he keeps it down”. Will Man defeat Food in Chi-town?
