ShockTillYouDrop.com just posted this exclusive first look at Brandon Routh on the set of Kevin Munroe’s adaptation of Tiziano Sclavi’s Italian horror comic, “Dead Of Night,” as the supernatural investigator Dylan Dog, the red shirt and black blazer-wearing hero of Sclavi’s “Dylan Dog”. Also in the cast are Sam Huntington, Taye Diggs, Anita Briem, Peter Stormare and Kurt Angle.

First appearing in 1986, “Dylan Dog” follows the adventures of the red-and-black clad, perpetually-broke title character, a “nightmares detective” who tackles supernatural cases. Set in London, the comic is also known for its surrealist imagery and the Groucho Marx-esque sidekick of Groucho.

“Dead Of Night” is set for a 2009 release.
