Blackfilm.com and Superherohype.com are reporting that Oscar Jaenada (”The Limits of Control”, “Che: Part Two”) has been cast as cowboy-hat wearing sniper Cougar in the upcoming Warner Bros. adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic book “The Losers”.

He’s joining Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, Jason Patric, and Zoe Saldana in the film about a CIA-affiliated black ops team who are betrayed and cut loose, left to die on a mission. They barely survive and plot to get even, hoping to find the reason they were selected to die and take revenge against the enigmatic intelligence persona known as Max.

Sylvain White is directing “The Losers”, the original book being by Andy Diggle and drawn by artist Jock.
