Fox has acquired the screen rights to the Ed Brubaker/Sean Phillips comic book series “Incognito”, from Icon/Marvel Comics.

When the super-strong supervillain Zack Overkill is finally caught by law enforcement, he manages to evade jail by informing on his boss, the mysterious supervillain known as The Black Death. Given drugs to dampen his powers and a new identity thanks to the Witness Protection Program, he grows bored with this new life. However, messing with his anti-power drugs not only gives him back his abilities but also a bit of a conscious, so he decides to become a vigilante, eventually coming to the attention of The Black Death, who hasn’t forgotten about Overkill…

Robert Schenkkan (“The Kentucky Cycle”) has been tapped to write the screenplay, with Peter Chernin (Chernin Entertainment) and David Engel (Circle of Confusion) will producing.
