Katherine Heigl is finally getting back to what she’s good at, films about babies. Yahoo! Movies has the brand new trailer for the film Life As We Know It and it actually looks pretty good.
The comedy stars Heigl and Josh Duhamel as a pair who go on a disastrous first date. Most would consider that no big deal and move on, but there’s one major problem, their best friends are married and when a tragic accident takes their lives, they’re named to care for the baby the long lost pals leave behind.
Not only does this one come packed with cutesy baby gags, but some heart as well. You’ve got two people who are seemingly not meant to be together, but a serious situation forces them tolerate one another. Wait, that sounds an awful lot like Knocked Up. Come October 8th, I’ll take it!
