Rielle Hunter, John Edwards’ ex-mistress, is demanding that the ex-presidential candidate’s aid Andrew Young should give her some of the profits from his new tell-all book, ‘The Politician,’ NYDailyNews.com reported on July 7. Young wrote the book about the couple’s affair, and promoted it by talking about their sex tape, so Hunter’s lawyers are demanding she be compensated for it.
Hunter’s lawyers didn’t disclose how much she is seeking, however. But they added that she is also looking to get the tape back from Young. She’s claiming that it was stolen from a box with other personal belongings. Young is denying the claim, saying he found it in a pile of trash he found outside a home he rented for her.
Robert Elliot, Young’s attorney, said in a Hillsborough, North Carolina courtroom that his client hasn’t profited from the sex tape, however. One of Hunter’s lawyers, Wade Barber, said Young shouldn’t be allowed to profit at all from any of his wrongdoings.
