Actress Evanna Lynch spoke to MTV about filming the final scenes of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, pt. 2”. In the interview she talked about what finally made her break down on set.

She said throughout filming, she was trying to prepare herself for the end. “I felt like, ‘Okay, we’ve talked about it so long,” she said, “and [we’ve] been asked a thousand times, ‘What’s the end going to be like?…And then when the end came I was really sad.”

“We went out into the battle [the climactic Battle at Hogwarts] and I felt it was so symbolic… I cried on the last day. It was emotional…It was epic. Everyone was like, ‘Well, this is it!'” You can hear more about Lynch’s stories about the last filming days in the video below.

Lynch plays Luna Lovegood, the batty friend of Harry and the crew. This is Lynch’s first role in a film series; she initially auditioned for the role of Luna Lovegood when she read about a casting call for “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” through Mugglenet (she was already an avid “Harry Potter” fan).

“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 2” will be in theaters July 15 of this year. Are you ready to face the end with Harry and the gang? Sound off below.
