More developments from the “Gotti: Three Generations” front–Lindsay Lohan, who we reported yesterday was auditioning for a role in “Superman: Man of Steel”, has been offered the role of Victoria Gotti in the biopic “Gotti: Three Generations”, according to MTV and TMZ.

TMZ is reporting that Lohan has beat out it girls Blake Lively and Sienna Miller for the role, and was supposedly handpicked by Victoria herself. However, when MTV News reached out for a comment, Lohan’s representative said that he can neither confirm nor deny Lohan was given the role, and as to whether Victoria picked Lohan, he said “You’d have to ask Victoria Gotti.” (According to the article, Victoria is friends with the Lohan family.)

TMZ also reports that while Lohan is still auditioning for “Superman”, she has supposedly gotten a plane ticket back to NYC to close the deal about playing Victoria in the film.

“Gotti: Three Generations”, starring John Travolta as John Gotti, Jr., tells the story from Gotti, Jr.’s point of view of his father’s reign as the head of the Gambino crime family. The film is set to be released sometime in 2013.
