It wasn’t too long ago that we were throwing back the beers at a college party, as 21 year olds of course. Turning the clocks back, we would have loved to hear the tunes of Dot Dot Curve jamming in the background.

Haven’t heard of this artist yet? Well, let us introduce you to the next Asher Roth. Dot Dot Curve originated out of Greenwood, Indiana in 2008, when the brainchild, Spanky, decided to create a solo project. Spanky released his tracks online, which led him to acquire over thousands of downloads a day. With Internet success, Dot Dot Curve is now ready for physical distribution victory with the upcoming release of “I’m Still Here”, which will drop on May 24th via Standby Records.

Spanky is a triple threat. To be a triple threat in these technological times does not mean the usual, where a person is an actor, dancer and musician. Nowadays a triple threat can be an artist who has written, mixed and recorded all his or her own music. Well, that is what Spanky did with his “I’m Still Here” release, which was recorded in his garage. Make him a quadruple threat because he also mastered his tracks on the album. See the greatness for yourselves and check out the I’m Still Here album trailer on Youtube now!

Dot Dot Curve is a rare talent that doesn’t cross our musical path too often. Too many artists play it safe by hoping to gain success on the radio waves. With his explicit tunes, Dot Dot Curves lets it all run free, proving to be an artist uninhibited by what is deemed as appropriate on the radio.

Relive your former college glory days or high school days for you youngins and stay up-to-date with upcoming album and tour news from the wild child, Spanky.
