The entire cast listing has been announced for the film “The Words”. The dramatic thriller, which is the directorial debut of “Tron Legacy” writers Lee Sternthal and Brian Klugman, stars Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Ben Barnes, John Hannah, J.K. Simmons, Nora Arnezeder, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, and Dennis Quaid. Sternthal and Klugman have also written the screenplay for the film. “The Words” will begin shooting this month in Montreal.

The script for “The Words” went through the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab and appeared on the Black List, the yearly list of the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.

Benaroya Pictures’ Micahel Benaroya will produce along with Animus Films’ Jim Young, and Serena Films’ Tatiana Kelly. Laura Rister from Untitled Entertainment will act as executive producer with Cassian Elwes under their joint venture Waterfall Media. Antonio Calvache (“In the Bedroom”, “Little Children”) will act as Director of Photography.

THE WORDS follows a writer (Cooper) who, at the peak of his literary success, discovers the price he must pay for stealing another man’s work.
