Millennium Entertainment has announced the upcoming release of “George Romero Presents Deadtime Stories Volume 1” July 12. The first of the two-volume set includes an anthology of three 30-minute horror films written by “Lone Star” writer Jeff Monahan. Monahan also directs along with Matt Walsh and Michael Fischa. The three films on the anthology are as follows:

– Valley of the Shadow: A woman searches for her missing husband in jungles of South America…and soon, the hunters become the hunted.

– WeT: A lonely potter finds a valuable jade box buried on the beach. And what’s inside… wants to keep him company.

– House Call: A woman calls an elderly doctor out on a house call on her strangely-ailing son. What he finds when he gets there isn’t listed in any medical books.

The DVD will be priced at $24.99, $14.99 as a standard digital download, and $19.99 as a high-def digital download.

Again, the DVD will be available in all its forms on July 12. Below are the DVD stills, box art, and trailer. If you’re a Romero fan, are you excited to add this to your DVD collection? What kind of thrills do you expect from the three films listed above? Sound off below.
