ABC has launched a new online game for it’s upcoming reality competition show ‘Expedition Impossible.’ The game, which is being compared to the popular 1980’s arcade game Frogger, allows users to pick one of the teams that will be featured on the show. The players have three lives to get their team across the desert.

‘Expedition Impossible,’ which is also launching a Facebook app to ask people what they would do in difficult situations, is set to premiere on Thursdsay, June 23, 2011 at 9 pm. The show, which is hosted by zoologist Dave Salmoni, follows 13 three-person teams as they race across deserts, snow-capped mountains and through rivers in Morocco. A new stage of the competition is revealed to the teams every week on the Mark Burnett-created show.

The teams embark on 10 challenges throughout the competition. The three members of the winning team each receive $50,000 and a new Ford Explorers.
