Some fans of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” are also huge fans of the popular horror video game “Resident Evil.” Due to their dual interests, some have taken to the internet to try and get one of the voice actors from “Resident Evil” to guest star on “The Walking Dead.”

The petition “D.C. Douglas on ‘The Walking Dead’!” was created by Nathan Narain in order to get D.C. Douglas, the voice actor of “Resident Evil” villain Albert Wesker, a role on the popular zombie horror show. Douglas, also an on-screen actor, has also appeared on CBS’s “2 Broke Girls,” ABC’s “Castle” and TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland.” He will also guest star on CBS’s “NCIS: Los Angeles” May 8 and Comedy Central’s “Workaholics” in June.

Douglas said that he’s happily surprised by the petition. “I have no idea if it will work,” he said, “but I’m tickled some of my twitter fans are augmenting my agent’s job! They have a special place in my cold, black heart. Zombie fans unite!”
