The first official trailer for Dax Shepard’s comedy ‘Hit and Run’ is out in circulation. The teaser is hilarious, and if it is any indication of how the movie will play out Shephard’s project should easily be a box office hit. The story follows the ‘Parenthood’ actor as a former get away driver named Charlie who turns his life around with the help of the witness protection program. His comfortable world comes crashing down when his former con artist associates find him and his girlfriend, played by real life love Kristen Bell.
Also part of the cast and seen in the trailer is The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper, who looks to be playing the leader of Dax’s ex crazy cohorts who are chasing him down. Michael Rosenbaum of Smallville fame, who gives Shepard a good crack to the face with a golf club, Kristin Chenoweth (Glee, GCB), Beau Bridges (The Descendants), Tom Arnold (Sons of Anarchy) and David Koechner (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy). The movie was co-directed by David Palmer and Dax Shepard, and comes from the producers behind ‘The Wedding Crashers’. ‘Hit and Run’ will be out in theaters on August 24th. Watch the trailer below.
