Supernatural Thriller The Quiet Ones Stirs Up Scares in Principal Photography

Hammer’s supernatural horror thriller ‘The Quiet Ones,’ which will shoot on location in Oxfordshire in England, began filming principal photography today. The film, which is being directed by John Pogue, stars Jared Harris, Sam Claflin, Erin Richards, Olivia Cooke and Rory Fleck-Byrne.

‘The Quiet Ones,’ which was written by Tom DeVille, with revisions by Craig Rosenberg, Oren Moverman and Pogue, is being produced by James Gay-Rees and Ben Holden. The film is inspired by true events of an unorthodox, but charismatic, Professor, played by Harris. He uses controversial methods and leads his best students to take part in a dangerous experiment-to create a poltergeist from negative human energy.

The production team working on ‘The Quiet Ones’ includes editor Glenn Galrand, cinematographer Matyas Erdely, costume designer Camille Brenda and production designer Matthew Gant. Exclusive media’s President of Worldwide Production & Acquisitions, Tobin Armbrust, is overseeing production with Head of Physical Production, Jillian Longnecker.
