Now that Christian Bale has hung up his Batman suit the ‘Dark Knight’ star is looking to play a new vigilante of sorts. Variety is reporting that the actor is in negotiations to star in one of the lead roles in director Todd Field’s forthcoming adaption ‘The Creed of Violence’, a story that comes from the novel of writer Boston Teran. If Bale accepts the new role he would play the character Rawbone in a story that explores the 1910 Mexican Revolution.

Bale’s alter ego teams up with a character by the name of John Lourdes who is an agent at the Bureau of Investigation. Together the two will try an take down underground criminals while making their way through a slew of crazy killers, smugglers, and other shady characters. On top of this latest casting news involving the Batman depicter, Bale is also attached to appear in the 2013 picture ‘Out of the Furnace’ from helmer Scott Cooper. The film that follows an ex-con running from his past in an Indiana town stars Woody Harrelson and Zoe Saldana. Additionally he is also a part of the top secret ‘Untitled Terrence Malick Project’ as well as ‘Knight of Cups’ with Natalie Portman and Joe Manganiello.
