Ridley Scott was spotted at London’s Heathrow Airport yesterday morning as he was getting ready to board a plane o Los Angeles, TMZ is reporting. The ‘Prometheus’ director was on his way to L.A. after his brother, ‘Top Gun’ helmer Tony Scott, committed suicide on Sunday.
The Scott brothers were close, and have co-produced several films together. They worked on such television projects as the hit CBS legal drama ‘The Good Wife’ and the upcoming A&E miniseries ‘Coma.’
Tony, who jumped off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California, left multiple notes to his loved ones. The notes were found at several locations, including his Toyota Prius, which was parked on one of the eastbound lanes of the bridge.
ABC News also reported yesterday that Tony had been suffering from inoperable brain cancer before his death. However, according to the Scott family, the ‘Unstoppable’ helmer didn’t have cancer.
