New images of Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson in the forthcoming movie ‘Hitchcock’ has dropped into circulation. In the pics Biel is dressed up as Vera Miles in the film that will chronicle the love between Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville during the making of ‘Psycho’. Johansson also does justice to her new role, dolled up as Hitchcock’s other leading lady Janet Leigh in the well known horror film that was released back in 1960. Director Sacha Gervasi is shepherding the pic that also stars veteran performer Anthony Hopkins in the title role along with Helen Mirren.
Here’s what Gervasi had to say about Johansson and Biel in their respective roles. “When we took that still of Scarlett behind the wheel and put it up against the still of Janet behind the wheel in Psycho, it was eerie. The extent to which Scarlett was able to channel Janet [was] a real surprise. She brought it in such a way that no one really anticipated.” Like Hitchcock, Gervasi also found it difficult to hide the beauty of his leading lady. “Hitchcock dressed her up in a wig and did everything could to make the beautiful Vera Miles look frumpy,” says Gervasi. “What Hitch tried to do to Vera we tried to do to Jessica, and the results were equally ridiculous. It is not possible to make Jessica Biel dowdy.”
