With the holidays fast approaching, the least romantic people might be finding themselves a bit more vulnerable than usual. Without blowing their stern covers, those love stubborn individuals can express their susceptibility via music. Whether you prefer to remain emotionally anonymous or outspokenly heartbroken, you can unwind alongside, singer and musician, Josh Doyle.

Former member of the UK band, The Dumdums, Doyle released his self-titled debut in October via CTK Records/Corporate Ogre Records. Produced by Grammy Award winner, John Shanks (Van Halen, Melissa Etheridge), “Josh Doyle” consists of ten tracks, including the lead single, “Solarstorms”.

Doyle recently released the official music video for the solo single, which includes a live performance and lyrical imagery of the track’s love story. Emphatically displaying his instrumental skills, Doyle effectively communicates the relentless desire to obtain another’s affection, while maintaining his “coolness”. “Solarstorms” isn’t just another sappy love song; it is candid, raw and relatable.

Doyle made his US television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live , where he performed “Solarstorms”.

You can head on over to iTunes to purchase the self-titled album.
