All Superheroes Must Die On DVD And Blu-ray January 29

“Watchmen,” look out! Another gritty superhero film could take your place! Cult favorite filmmaker Jason Trost is at it again with the DVD/Blu-ray release of “All Superheroes Must Die.” The film is described as a “no-holds-barred revisionist take on the superhero genre” and stars Trost along with Lucas Till (“X-Men: First Class”) and James Remar (“Dexter,” “Django Unchained”).

If you want to get a look at what you can expect from the film, check out the trailer below and write what you think about the film in the comments section. “All Superheroes Must Die” will be available on the aforementioned home entertainment formats Jan. 29.

“‘All Superheroes Must Die’ follows four masked avengers – Charge (Trost), Cutthroat (Till), The Wall (Lee Valmassy) and Shadow (Sophie Merkley) — who find themselves stripped of their powers by their arch-nemesis (Remar), whom they defeated years earlier … or so they thought. When the sinister mastermind puts the heroes through a series of brutal challenges that are virtually impossible to overcome, they must battle the clock – and even each other – in a race to stop a deadly countdown that could mean total destruction. Will the superheroes prevail, or will they be forced to meet their demise as mere human beings?”
