Noomi Rapace is out for blood in the upcoming thriller “Dead Man Down.” The film reunites Rapace with “Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” director Niels Arden Oplev. And similar to Rapace’s role in “Dragon Tattoo,” Rapace’s character is chasing down criminals on her own terms.

Rapace plays Beatrice in “Dead Man Down,” a wronged woman itching for the revenge she feels she deserves and she’ll get it any way she can.

Below the post is a featurette about Rapace and her character and her motivations. There’s also a clip from the film as well as a cool mashup about Rapace and other butt-kicking women that have graced the big screen.

Here’s what you can expect from “Dead Man Down:”

“DEAD MAN DOWN is an action thriller that stars Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace as two strangers whose mutual desire for revenge draws them together and triggers an escalating trail of mayhem. The film, which also stars Academy Award-nominee Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper, marks the American theatrical debut of director Niels Arden Oplev (the original The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo)”

“Dead Man Down” will be in theaters March 8. You can learn more about the film at the film’s Facebook page and @DeadManDownFilm (hashtag #DeadManDown).
