Originally conceived as a film for 2018 and then later in 2019, “Marvel’s Inhumans” went through development hell, but it’s now a new TV show on ABC.

Luckily, we’ll still get a chance to see “Inhumans” on he big screen because the first episode will screen on IMAX screen across the country on September 1 just before it premieres on TV on September 29 on ABC.

It’s going to be interesting to see how well Inhumans does on TV. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.” had a lot of potential, but it took them a long time to catch their stride. “Marvel’s Agent Carter” had a good two-season run after it saw success as a Marvel One-Shot, but it was canceled early due to low ratings.

What do you think of the TV trailer for “Marvel’s Inhumans?” Do you think Marvel has another hit on their hands? Do you also think Marvel will screen pilot episode super early at San Diego Comic-Con this year?

After a military coup, the Inhuman Royal Family escape to Hawaii where they must save themselves and the world.

The new TV show from Marvel Studios on ABC stars Anson Mount, Iwan Rheon, Serinda Swan, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores, and Mike Moh.

Marvel’s Inhumans early in IMAX theaters Sept 1 and experience the full series starting Sept 29 on ABC.
