A terrifying urban legend is seemingly becoming all-too-real for a pair of siblings, who are still contending with the the shocking murder of their parents, in the new horror film, ‘The Rake.’ The duo has discovered that the horrible crime, which occurred during their childhoods, may have a startling connection to a local urban legend. That chilling detection will hit home when the movie is released on DVD and Digital tomorrow by Unified Pictures via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. In honor of the thriller’s distribution, ShockYa is debuting an exclusive clip from the drama, which is titled ‘Whats Wrong?’

The horror-thriller stars Shenae Grimes-Beech, Rachel Melvin, Stephen Brodie, Izabella Miko, Joey Bicicchi and Joe Nuñez. ‘The Rake’ was directed by award-winning horror filmmaker Tony Wash, who also co-wrote the script with Jeremy Silva.

The following synopsis for ‘The Rake’ has been released by Unified Pictures and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment:

At a young age, Ashley and Ben witnessed the brutal murder of their parents. Years later, Ashley is still convinced it wasn’t someone, but something, that killed her parents, and now she’s tormented by the thought of The Rake returning for her and her family. Is Ashley traumatized, or is the creature inside her real?
