According to The Hollywood Reporter, George Clooney will receive the 2011 Hollywood Actor Award at the 15th annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Film Awards. The star is being recognized by the Starz-presented event due to his work in “The Descendants,” in which he plays a cold father and husband who has to become a family man due to a tragedy.
