Anthony Hopkins and Annette Benning have been tapped to star with Andy Garcia in “Hemingway and Fuentes.” Garcia will be directing from a script that he wrote with Hilary Hemingway, granddaughter of the acclaimed writer Ernest Hemingway. The film will tell the tale of the twenty-odd years that Hemingway spent in Cuba with his best friend Gregorio Fuentes and fell in love with the woman who inspired him to write “The Old Man and the Sea.” Garcia will play Fuentes, and Bening will play the Hemingway’s third wife, Mary Welsh Hemingway.
