According to the site, Warner Brothers preemptively picked up the rights to the books the reboot as well as the original films are based on. No writer or director has been hired as of yet. After Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo reprised their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold in the HomeAway’s Vacation-themed Super Bowl ad, Variety announced there will be another movie installment in the National Lampoon ‘Vacation’ series. The still-untitled film will follow Clark and Ellen’s son Rusty, as he vacations with his own family.
