Talk about a role Johnny Depp was made for! The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Johnny Depp will produce a film inspired by the life of classic children’s author Dr. Seuss through his company, Infinitum Nihil and Illumination Entertainment. He might also star as Seuss in the film. Universal Pictures will distribute. The film will be family-friendly, but producers say it will not be so candy-coated as Disney and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland.” However, they aren’t saying the film won’t be without any special eye-candy. Everyone has their own opinions about the film adaptations of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas, “The Cat in the Hat”and “Horton Hears a Who”. Most of those opinions are negative ones.
