Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox has begun overhauling the “Fantastic Four” movie franchise for a “reboot” over the two films that were released in 2005 and 2007. Akiva Goldsman has been hired to produce the reboot, and Michael Green, (co-exec producer, “Heroes”) who co-wrote the script for the upcoming “Green Lantern”, will write the script. It is unclear if any of the cast from the previous films will be returning for the new film. “The Fantastic Four” first appeared in 1961 from Marvel Comics and were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. According to Hollywood.com, Jessica Alba (Awake) is pregnant and expecting a child in Spring of 2008 with her boyfriend Cash Warren whom she met on the set of The Fantastic Four by director Tim Story in 2005, Cash was the director’s assistant. Today Marvel Comics launched the Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited archive online. For $4.99 per month Marvel users will have unlimited access to thousands of digitally remastered comics online. From the service you will be able to read the first issues of many popular comics, such as the first original run of The X-men, issues 1-100 of the Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk and issues 1-100 of The Fantastic Four.
