Sony has announced the official release date for ‘Hurt Locker’ director Kathryn Bigelow’s upcoming Navy Seal project, a movie that follows the hunt, and ultimate death of Osama bin Laden.  Bigelow and her partner mark Boal have been working on the story for a while with recent changes to the script after the capture of the notoriously evil terrorist leader bin Laden.  Set for it’s official release on October 12, 2012, production is scheduled to begin late this summer with a title of ‘Kill bin Laden’.  The movie will star Joel Edgerton, but additional cast members set to appear have yet to be announced. Twilight author Stephenie Meyer’s has another novel that will be turned into a movie. Titled The Host, Meyer’s will see her fictitious character Melanie, who’s body is being used as a vessel by an alien named Wanderer, hit the big screen on March 29, 2013. I attempted to read the book (what feels like ages ago) but I couldn’t finish the story. It’s no Twilight, and yes I’m a fan, but maybe I’ll give Melanie Stryder and her story as one of the last humans another attempt. Overture Films has officially announced the release date for their upcoming film, “Let Me In” by director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), which will open in theaters on October 1st, 2010.
