Jack Black Aquires Movie Rights to How to Survive a Robot Uprising
Saturday, October 23rd, 2010Jack Black and writer-director Steve Pink have acquired the rights to the semi-satiric book ‘How to Survive a Robot Uprising,’ Slashfilm.com is reporting. The book gives insights into the current state of robotics, speculates how robots could rise against humans and provides humans with tips on how to survive such an uprising. There isn’t any word yet on whether or not Black will be starring in the film. Since the book doesn’t have a coherent storyline of its own, Pink, who wrote ‘Grosse Pointe Blank’ and ‘High Fidelity,’ will have to create a rational story on his own.
