Warner Bros. has hired ‘Let Me In’ director Matt Reeves to direct the upcoming ‘Twilight Zone’ movie, which was penned by Jason Rothenberg and is based on the Rod Serling television series of the same name, Deadline is reporting. Final negotiations are expected to be completed early this week, and production on the film is expected to begin during summer 2012. ‘The Twilight Zone,’ which was coveted by such directors as Christopher Nolan and Michael Bay, will be produced by Appian Way partners Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson Killoran, as well as Michael Ireland. Collin Wilcox Paxton, best known for playing Mayella Violet Ewell, the woman who accused a black man of raping her in the classic 1962 film “To Kill a Mockingbird,” died on October 14th of brain cancer. In addition to her famous role in the film adaptation of the book “To Kill A Mockingbird”, Paxton appeared in such popular TV shows as “The Waltons,” “The Twilight Zone,” “Playhouse 90,” and “Columbo.” Paxton was 74, and died at her home in Highlands, North Carolina.
