Jason Statham (Crank, The Transporter) is in talks to star in “Death Race” a remake of Roger Corman’s 1975 cult hit “Death Race 2000”. Paul W.S. Anderson (Event Horizon, AVP) is writing and directing the remake. The original film starred David Carradine and Sylvester Stallone as Machine Gun Joe Viterbo.
