Hollywoodreporter.com reports today that Chris Marquette (The Invisible, Freddy Vs. Jason) has officially signed on to play the lead in “Infestation” by Kyle Rankin. “Infestation” is a comedic-horror movie, best described as “28 Days Later meets Shaun of the Dead”. The film follows a teenager (Marquette) who realizes that the world has been overthrown by giant alien insects. The teenager fights for survival with a group of strangers. Director Kyle Rankin is best known for his work in “Project Greenlight 2”.
Production begins May 28, 2007 in Bulgaria.
