Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles tells an incredible story of poverty, drugs, murder and what its like for a kid to grow up deep in the projects in Rio de Janeiro. Drug trade becomes deadly and young Rocket played by Alexandre Rodrigues finds himself in the middle of a drug war.
This movie is absolutely incredible, technically amazing and beautifully shot. This might just be Fernando Meirelles at the top of his game.
