28 million votes and counting! A nation of devoted fans has emerged since last Thursday’s airing of MTV’s “Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew” to voice their support for the last two crews standing – JabbaWockeeZ and Status Quo. It will be the ultimate dance-off as the crews’ battle in the LIVE season finale Thursday, March 27th at 10pm ET/(tape delayed PT). Fans can view this season’s crew performances and cast their votes for the final two crews via text messaging, phone and online at http://dancecrew.mtv.com. Polls are open now through Thursday, March 27th at 9:00pm ET.

From Thursday 3/20 to date, over 28 million votes have been cast via phone, text messaging and the Web with over 9 million votes for the final two crews in the first 24-hours of polling! “Dance Crew” content alone on MTV.com has also generated over 1 million streams in just the first 24-hours after last week’s episode. In addition to its recent success, over the last seven weeks “Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew” has been the top rated telecast in Thursday primetime (8-11p) among P12-34 across all of cable and is the highest rated new MTV series among P12-34 for 2008-to-date. The show has also seen consistent week-to-week digital growth since its season premiere and has remained MTV.com’s top show since its debut, averaging +26% growth weekly for its show pages.

Competing in this Thursday’s live finale and driving viewers support through the roof are Boston’s Status Quo and the JabbaWockeeZ of San Diego. Giving B-boy flavor a Beantown twist, Status Quo has become known for flips, stunts and for infusing their routines with humor. Masked and making moves on the dance floor that would make professionals jealous, the JabbaWockeeZ are known for their innovative choreography and group movement. Both crews have overcome incredible personal odds, competed against some of the top dance talent in the country and remain top contenders to dance their way to the $100,000 cash prize and the title of America’s Best Dance Crew.

The exciting finale will also welcome back and showcase the performances of all crews from the entire season – Enigma (Tampa, FL), ICONic (Englishtown, NJ), Breaksk8 (Kokomo, IN), Fysh & Chicks (Los Angeles, CA), Live In Color (Miami, FL), Femme 5 (Chicago, IL) and Kaba Modern (Orange County, CA).

“Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew” premiered February 7, 2008 and is the first dance competition series for crews (5 to 7 crewmembers) rather than individual dancers.
