Tyga made his MTV debut on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards in a star-studded performance alongside Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Panic At The Disco and Lil Wayne. Tyga is the younger cousin of Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy, who also happens to be it-girl of the moment Katy Perry’s boyfriend. This Compton, CA rapper was signed to Pete Wentz’ Decaydance Records and Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment and released his debut album, “No Introduction,” on June 10. Largely hailed as an artist to watch, Tyga is garnering significant buzz and can once again be seen on MTV as the network’s “52 Bands/52 Weeks” featured artist.
