Yahoo Movies has an exclusive sneak-peak at a poster for the upcoming Transformers movie “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”, due in theaters June 26th.
The sequel to the 2007 live-action summer smash “Transformers”, “Revenge Of The Fallen” stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Kevin Dunn, Isabel Lucas, Julie White, John Benjamin Hickey, and Ramon Rodriguez. “Transformers” was directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg, who are also returning in the same roles for “Revenge Of The Fallen”, and was the first-ever live-action attempt at the long-running Transformers franchise.
“Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” is about the continuing war of the the Transformers on Earth, between the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When Autobot ally Sam Witwicky discovers something about the Transformers’ origins and their history on Earth, the Decepticons are after him and it’s up to Optimus Prime and the Autobots to save their friend and defend Earth once again.
The Transformers brand started in 1984 initially as a toy franchise. It revolves around a secret war raging on the Earth and in space between to sides of a race of sentient alien robots, the Autobots and the Decepticons. They hide on Earth by developing the power to transform and take the shape of various vehicles, hence giving rise to the popular franchise tagline “Robots in disguise” and allowing for various Transformers to be introduced and appear in different media forms, including multiple animated series, comics, films, and primarily in toy form.

This Fallen character looks really pissed off. Must be upset that he won’t get to fight against Megatron. I’ve heard a rumor that Starscream gets killed by the Fallen character, does anyone know if this is true or just misinformation. Starscream shouldn’t die until the very last Transformers movie( Transformers 3 or 4). Cool Poster though.
