“Scott Pilgrim” was created by Bryan Lee O’Malley in 2004, about the adventures of a romantic slacker and rock ‘n roll bassist. In order to win the heart of Ramona Flowers, Scott must battle her seven evil ex-boyfriends and their bizarre personalities and abilities in kung-fu combat, before he can even date her. Along the way a plethora of other characters appear, from band members to kung-fu devils.
Filming this month, and the film will star Michael Cera as the film’s eponymous protagonist, and will also star Brandon Routh, Chris Evans, Alison Pill, Kieran Culkin, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and many more. Wright is directing, with Michael Bacall writing the script.
