Last August, actor Vin Diesel said there would be at least two more Chronicles of Riddick movies, but there has been no word on the new films’ updates until today.
Diesel sat down with GameSpot and talked about his new movie, Fast & Furious, as well as the new Chronicles of Riddick video game, when the interviewer asked him about the progress of the latest Riddick film.
The actor says, “It is underway and I almost think it’s a coincidence that we haven’t heard anything, that there hasn’t been a lot of public stuff on the Riddick movie.”
Diesel adds that David Twohy is finishing up the script and once it’s ready, Universal will take the next steps. In the meantime, however, no details will be released.
Fast & Furious, which stars Vin Diesel as his infamous series character Dominic Toretto, hits theaters on April 3rd.
