Synopsis: TWILIGHT, based on the acclaimed novel by Stephenie Meyer, is the highly-anticipated movie of the ultimate forbidden love affair between a vampire and mortal. Boasting a whole host of bright young talent including Robert Pattinson (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Kristen Stewart (Into The Wild, What Just Happened) and Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down, The O.C.), the screenplay is written by Melissa Rosenberg (Step Up, The O.C.) and directed by the Award-winning filmmaker Catherine Hardwicke (Lords of Dogtown, Thirteen).

Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother remarries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Intelligent and witty, he sees straight into her soul.

  1. this is stupid. Firstly edward would NEVER bite Bella. If he did, his venom would get into her blood and the change into a vampire would begin. Also, as soon as he tasted her blood, which he WOULD as his teeth would automatically penetrate her skin, the frenzy would begin and he wouldnt be able to stop. Even if he did, he wouldnt exactly be coherent! Plus, it would be a little bit more painful than that for Bella. 4GS, why did they even film this? its stupid and contradicts everything about the vampires in the book!

  2. When I first viewed this deleted scene I, too, thought as Helena did in that Edward had bitten and drew blood from Bella’s finger. However, now that I’ve watched it a second time, I don’t think that’s the case. I don’t think Edward actually drew blood. He just bit her finger hard enough to cause her pain, although to him it wouldn’t be hard at all, hence his response about human frailty. Although Bella’s finger was smarting, I think she was more surprised that Edward stuck her finger in his mouth. Her response was more sensual in nature as she stuck her finger in her own mouth to suck on it. I didn’t like this scene because it was really uncharacteristic of Edward to do anything to Bella that would intentionally cause her pain. In the book, Edward was pretty anal about not hurting Bella in any way.

  3. This is not a deleted scene from Twilight or any other book in the saga. This is simply a behind the scenes with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Kristen was talking about this exact thing, in an interview.

  4. This bothered me too. When I was watching my dvd at home I loved it until they fell. I thought the dialoge at the beginning should have been in the movie, but he wouldn’t have bit her. I don’t know why it was even written because it does not go with the story at all. He wouldn’t have bit her, and for her to be all do you really want to taste it, it’s just strange.

It is a deleted scene because Catherine introduced it and said she really wanted to keep it in the movie because it was one of her favorite scenes

  5. I say.. Twilight was a complete rip off of a series written in 1991 by L.J.Smith called Vampire Diaries.. BUT I still very much enjoyed Twilight.. I did notice that part of this scene was actually in the movie during the credits…
