The trailer for “GI Joe: Resolute” an animated series based on the G.I. Joe franchise, written by Warren Ellis, produced by Sam Register, and directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, is now online courtesy of [Adult Swim]. If you’re in the US, you can check it out here.
The series will be released online as ten 5-minute episodes, and then one 10-minute final episode. These episodes will then be formed into a single hour-long movie. The movie is scheduled for broadcast on Cartoon Network on April 25th, 2009. The more adult-themed adaptation of the GI Joe franchise is being released to tie in with the upcoming “GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra” film out August 7th, 2009.
