Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s “Inception,” the filmmaker’s thriller for Warner Bros. Leonardo DiCaprio is also starring.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Gordon-Levitt is taking over role of CEO-type assistant to DiCaprio that was to have been played by James Franco, who left the project due to scheduling issues.
Marion Cotillard is cast as DiCaprio’s wife, and Ellen Page is a grad student. Cillian Murphy is also in the cast in an unknown role.
Nolan is aiming for a 2010 release for “Inception”.
