The prequel film, which has been in development since 2005, details the early days of Kirk in Starfleet, his first meeting with Spock, and the inexperienced crew of the Enterprise banding together to battle the time-traveling Romulan villain known as Nero.
“Star Trek”, directed by J. J. Abrams, hits theaters May 8th, 2009 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Eric Bana, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, and Leonard Nemoy.
