Joel Silver’s Dark Castle will be producing “I Saw What You Did,” a remake of the 1965 horror film “I Saw What You Did and I Know Who You Are!”

Patrick Lussier is attached to direct, and he and Todd Farmer are writing. The two last teamed up on the recent “My Bloody Valentine 3D,” which Lussier directed and Farmer co-wrote.

The original film starred Joan Crawford, and was based on the Ursula Curtis novel “Out of the Dark”. Two girls make prank phone calls one night until one of the recipients of their joke turns out to actually be a killer, who decides to silence the apparent “witnesses”.
