Variety is reporting that Rosario Dawson will star in the romantic comedy “The Zookeeper” opposite Kevin James. Leslie Bibb has also been attached to the project.
Happy Madison Productions, alongside James, Jeff Sussman, Todd Garner, and Jennifer Eatz are producing. Frank Coraci is directing, based on a screenplay from Jay Scherick, David Ronn, Kevin James, Nick Bakay, and Rock Reuben. James, Sussman and Garner have previously worked together on “Paul Blart: Mall Cop”.
The film centers on various zoo animals trying to teach the keeper their methods of dating and mating to help him win back the woman of his dreams.
The film is set to start shooting in late summer of 2009, with a July 23rd, 2010 release date.
