Director Edgar Wright has posted another video blog update from the set of “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World”, a live-action adaptation of the Bryan Lee O’Malley comic “Scott Pilgrim”. You can check out the video blog here.
Focused on the adventures of 24-year old slacker and bassist of the band Sex Bob-Omb, “Scott Pilgrim” is about the titular hero as he, along with trying to date the beautiful Ramona Flowers, must battle her seven evil ex-boyfriends in sometimes hilarious and hi-energy martial arts combat. The series, known for its varied cast, comedy, and action, has 5 volumes released so far from independent publication company Oni Press.
“Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” stars Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Brandon Routh, Chris Evans, Kieran Culkin, Ellen Wong, Mark Webber, Anna Kendrick, and Jason Schwartzman.
The film has no set release date yet. Filming began in March of this year.
