At last night’s MTV Movie Awards, some brand-new exclusive footage from the upcoming GI Joe film “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, premiered. You can check out the footage below, courtesy of MTV.
The film is a look at the formation of GI Joe and their top operatives, as they battle against the forces of the global terrorist organization known as COBRA. It is the first live-action adaptation of the classic Hasbro toy and cartoon series, which gained popularity from the 1980’s cartoon series.
“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, starring Channing Tatum, Ray Park, Marlon Wayans, Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Christopher Eccleston, is in theaters August 7th, 2009.
