Director Edgar Wright has posted a brand-new video blog from the set of “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Universe”, the big-screen live-action adaptation of the hit comedic/action comic series “Scott Pilgrim” by Bryan Lee O’Malley. You can check it out right here.
The film, starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Brandon Routh, Kieran Culkin, Alison Pill, Mark Webber, Chris Evans, and Ellen Wong, among others, is about 20-something slacker Scott Pilgrim, bassist for Sex Bob-Omb. When Scott falls in love with the mysterious and hip Ramona Flowers, he learns that me must battle her seven evil ex-boyfriends in kung-fu off-the-wall martial arts combat, before he can officially be her boyfriend.
The film has a tentative release date of 2010.
