Sony has launched the official site of the upcoming adaptation of the hit manga “Priest”, which features a sneak peak of Paul Bettany in the lead role. You can see the image below courtesy of Superhero Hype and Screen Gems, and find the site right here.
The original Korean manga is set in an alternate Wild West-like world where war between fallen angels, demons, and humanity rages on. The film adaption follows a renegade priest in a world ravaged by a war between humanity and vampires, who tracks a band of vampires who have kidnapped his young niece.
Starring Bettany and Cam Gagandet and being both written and directed by Scott Charles Stewart, the film is slated to hit theaters August 13th, 2010.
